Long before the storefront, there was a stand at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet — and a line of regulars who knew what the big stores didn't: the best hand-carved gold on the island was right here. Every piece cut, engraved, and enamel-filled by John's own hands. Solid 14k. Never plated. Never hollow.

When we opened our own front door at Westridge, the ʻohana who found us at the stand followed us home. Now it's your turn to find us.

Ways to Pay

Solid gold, paid your way.

Cash and card are always welcome. If you would rather spread it out, John can set you up at the counter. Two options, and they work differently — here is the plain version of each.

Credit line

Synchrony

A jewelry credit card from Synchrony Bank. You own the piece the day you walk out, and you pay the bank back monthly.

  • See if you prequalify at the counter. An answer in seconds, and checking does not affect your credit score.
  • Promotional terms are set at the register and change, so ask John what is running the day you buy.
  • No annual fee, and the credit limit stays open for the next piece.
Ask About Synchrony

Lease to own

Acima

Not a loan. Acima buys the piece from C&J and leases it to you. It is yours once you finish the payments or buy it out early.

  • No credit history needed. Bring a photo ID, your SSN or ITIN, and a checking account with at least $750 a month coming in for the last three months.
  • Approvals run about $300 to $5,000, decided in about a minute, with payments timed to your payday.
  • Buy it out in the first 90 days for the Acima cash price plus a small purchase fee — or hand it back any time, no penalty.
  • Best for pieces already in the case. A lease covers finished goods, so ask first before counting on it for a custom carve.

Acima. The advertised service is a lease-purchase agreement provided by Acima. It is not a loan, credit, or financing. While no credit history is required, Acima obtains information from consumer reporting agencies in connection with a lease application. The Acima cash price includes a markup over the invoice price, and acquiring ownership by leasing costs more than the store's cash price. Not available in MN, NJ, WI, or WY.
